Greg CheneyICEEFT Certified Trainer
Dr. Greg Cheney is a retired U.S. Army Chaplain, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor with a PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education.
He was the Director of the Watters Family Life Center for Counseling & Resiliency and the Family Life Chaplain Qualification Course at Fort Liberty, NC (aka Fort Bragg) in his final Army assignment. He is now the Clinical Director of Valiant Couples Therapy and Consulting in Fuquay-Varina, NC.
Greg spent years deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan while assigned to airborne infantry and Special Forces units and a career caring for soldiers and their families upon their return. As an EFT Trainer, his combat experience informs how he approaches EFT for use with combat veterans and first responders and also informs how he trains those who care for the heroes in those communities.

Debi Scimeca-DiazICEEFT Certified Trainer
Debi Scimeca-Diaz, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, is an ICEEFT-approved EFT Therapist, Supervisor, and Trainer, as well as Director of the EFT Center of New Jersey. Additionally, Debi is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor in the state of New Jersey with over 25 years of experience in the field, including over 15 years as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She runs a full-time private practice where she offers EFT couples therapy and Hold Me Tight workshops; individual and group supervision and consultation; and EFT trainings at both the Externship and Core Skills levels. Debi’s mission is to leverage her skills as a clinician alongside her genuine compassion to foster healing through transformative emotional experiences for all her clients, creating sustainable and long-term connection in their relationships.
