Cindy Goodness ZaneICEEFT Certified Trainer
Born and raised in Pearl City, Hawai’i, Cindy Aiko Leimomi Goodness Zane is a local girl at heart and of multiethnic backgrounds, who strongly identifies with her Hawaiian and Japanese roots. She started her professional life as a trial attorney and discovered along the way that she was drawn to peoples’ stories, joys, challenges and relationships. As a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Zane enjoys working with couples, families and individuals of diverse backgrounds, identities and varied life experiences. She utilizes EFT to help clients navigate through life’s challenges by strengthening their relationships; after all, life is less scary and most meaningful when we have close others to share it with.
As an ICEEFT Certified EFT Trainer, Supervisor and Therapist, Dr. Zane is passionate about training EFT clinicians throughout Hawai’i and around the world, including, Iran, Japan, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean, as well as providing supervision to clinicians in Brazil, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, North America and Hawai’i. Dr. Zane has also provided training and consultation to a vast array of organizations such as the Hawai’i Judicial Conference, the Hawai’i State Bar Association, the Western States Bar Conference, and the Chaminade University Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program.

Greg CheneyICEEFT Certified Trainer
Dr. Greg Cheney is a retired U.S. Army Chaplain, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor. He holds a PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education.
In his final military assignment, he served as Director of the Watters Family Life Center for Counseling & Resiliency and led the Family Life Chaplain Qualification Course at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Today, he is the Owner and Clinical Director of Valiant Couples Therapy and Consulting in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.
Greg’s military career spans years deployed with airborne infantry and Special Forces units in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has spent decades supporting soldiers and their families through the unique challenges of military life and reintegration.
As an EFT Trainer, Greg brings a distinctive voice to the work. His combat and caregiving experience deeply inform how he applies Emotionally Focused Therapy with combat veterans and first responders—and how he trains clinicians who serve these resilient but often underserved communities.
